Alie Tan

Alie Tan is the current Chief Technology Officer & Co-Founder at FinAccel. Alie has extensive experience in product management and application development. Prior to joining FinAccel, they were the Head of Application Development at Risto Mobile Solutions Pte Ltd and Assoc Director - Products at Affle Pte Ltd.

Tan started their career as a Network Engineer at SkyNet and later joined Affle Pte Ltd as a Product Manager in September 2006. During their time at Affle, they were responsible for coming up with prototypes, wireframes, mockups, POCs and working on changes to UI flows and designs depending on analytics, user behavior patterns and scenarios. Alie also strategized the product and fitted it to form a challenging roadmap. Tan left Affle in August 2012 and joined Risto Mobile Solutions Pte Ltd as Head of Application Development in September 2013. In this role, they were responsible for managing a team of developers to create mobile applications for iOS, Android, Blackberry, Symbian, WP7 and J2ME platforms.

In April 2015, Tan joined a confidential company as Chief Technology Officer and was responsible for creating a logistics revolution platform. Alie left the company in October 2015 and rejoined Risto Mobile Solutions Pte Ltd as Head of Application Development. Tan left Risto Mobile Solutions in March 2015 and joined FinAccel as CTO & Co-Founder in April 2015.

Alie Tan graduated from BINUS University with a degree in computer science.

They are on a team with Ahmad Johari - SVP, Customer Operations, Chieh Ho - AVP, Capital Markets, and Paramananda Setiawan - Chief Data Officer. Alie Tan reports to Akshay Garg, CEO & Co-Founder. Some direct reports include Yansen Tan - Head, Fullstack Engineering, Fabian Sulaiman - Head, Software Engineering, and Peter Juanda - Head, DevOps Engineering.
