Kito Huggins

Kito Huggins has two decades of experience in diversity, equity and inclusion, business development, compliance and litigation roles in the legal and financial services industries. Prior to joining Finsbury in 2020, Mr. Huggins served as Director of Executive Administration at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP. There, he advised the firm’s C-Suite leaders on critical issues, developed communications and marketing campaigns and led the design and delivery of diversity education programs, including on recruitment, retention, sponsorship and cross-cultural collaboration. Previously, Mr. Huggins was a consultant for the FutureWork Institute, where he advised executives on workforce trends and strategies. He has also served as Vice President of Compliance for the Private High Net Worth Division of Lehman Brothers and in-house counsel for MetLife. He began his legal career as a litigation associate at Shearman & Sterling LLP, following a federal law clerkship. Kito is a Board Trustee for his alma mater, Vanderbilt University, and board chair of the New York City Anti-Violence Project, a non-profit advocacy organization that offers legal, financial and counseling services to LGBTQ+ families and survivors of violence. He also serves as an advisor to Kanarys, Inc., a Black-owned and founded start-up tech platform that helps employers build more inclusive workplaces.
