James Grunwald

James Grunwald has a diverse work experience that spans across multiple industries. James is currently a Founding Member at Sidebar, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Finvisor starting in 2017. At Finvisor, they held various roles including Head of Advisory and Finance & Strategy Manager. James also served as the Accounting & Strategy Manager and Accounting & Operations Manager at the company. Before joining Finvisor, James worked at ACTED as a Program Manager - Microenterprise Development and Senior Audit Controller. James also had a brief role as an Audit Controller/Compliance Officer at the same organization. Prior to this, James gained experience at Boeing, where they worked in the Commercial Aircraft Supply Chain and Transportation Logistics departments. James began their career as a Judicial Assistant at the Los Angeles Superior Court in 2012.

James Grunwald holds a Master's Degree in Quantitative Finance, which they obtained from SOAS University of London in the period between 2017 and 2020. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from The Master's University. Additionally, they also hold another Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from the same institution. James has obtained several certifications, including Certified ProAdvisor - Quickbooks Online from Intuit and Xero Advisor Certified from Xero in April 2017. James also holds a BDS Earned Value Management Certification, which they earned from Boeing in July 2013.
