Kaiyu Gao

Kaiyu Gao has a strong background in engineering and research. They started their career as a Pharmacy Assistant at Shoppers Drug Mart in 2015. In 2017, they worked as a Mathematics Science Tutor at Scholars Education and Carlton Prep Academy. They then served as a Research & Development Intern at SteriMax Inc. in 2018.

In 2019, Kaiyu joined the Ontario Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks as a Review Engineer Assistant. They later pursued their graduate studies at the University of Toronto, where they worked as a Laboratory Teaching Assistant from September 2021 to April 2022. During this time, they also held the role of Graduate Student Researcher from February 2022 to November 2022.

From 2016 to 2021, Kaiyu Gao pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Chemical Engineering & Applied Chemistry at the University of Toronto.

In 2021, Kaiyu Gao continued their studies at the University of Toronto, enrolling in the Master of Engineering (MEng) program in Chemical Engineering & Applied Chemistry, which they are expected to complete in 2022.

Additionally, Kaiyu Gao obtained a certification in Standard First Aid & CPR-C from the Lifesaving Society Canada. The specific details of when the certification was obtained are not provided.
