Justin Stewart has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. Justin started their career as an Assistant Branch Manager at Mercantile Bank/Firstar Bank in 1997. Justin later joined San Diego National Bank as a Client Service Manager and worked there until the bank merged with US Bank in 2002. At US Bank, Justin served as an Assistant Manager and received four merit promotions, eventually becoming an Assistant Branch Manager. During their tenure, Justin achieved various accolades such as ranking first in customer service and second in personal banking bank-wide. Justin was also certified in commercial and consumer lending and oversaw the sales growth and operations of a $44MM de novo branch. In 2012, Justin joined Opus Bank as a Vice President/Retail Banking Manager before moving on to join First Foundation Inc. in 2016 as a Vice President/Branch Manager. Throughout their career, Justin has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, achieved sales goals, and built strong client relationships.
Justin Stewart obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Microbiology from The University of Kansas in the period from 1997 to 2000. Justin then pursued Medical Clinical Sciences/Graduate Medical Studies at the University of Kansas Medical Center from 2000 to 2001. Currently, they are enrolled in the Pacific Coast Banking School from 2021 to 2023, where they are working towards a 3-year, Masters-level Banking Certificate with a focus on Banking & Executive Leadership.
