Benjamin Woods Ceng Fimeche

Benjamin Woods is a CEng FIMechE with extensive work experience in the engineering field. Benjamin began their career in 2004 at Porterbrook Leasing as a Technical Support Engineer. From 2009 to 2013, they worked at East Midlands Trains, first as a Fleet Support Engineer and later as a Depot Manager at Eastcroft. In 2013, Benjamin joined Arriva Trains Wales as the Head of Engineering, and later served as the Engineering Director (Interim). In 2016, they joined Network Rail as a Route Asset Manager (Track) before moving to IPEX Consulting in 2017 as an Associate Director. Most recently, Benjamin has been with FirstGroup plc, first as the Director of Engineering Best Practice and currently as the Director of Engineering Business Development.

Benjamin Woods CEng FIMechE obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Leeds, where they studied from 2001 to 2004.
