Nikos Papageorgiou

Co-Founder & COO at Fishtail

Nikos Papageorgiou's work experience includes co-founding and being the COO of Fishtail, a company focused on redefining trade finance for small businesses. Nikos also served as an advisor for various companies, including advising on digital supply chain transformation and medical affairs for Onconostic Technologies/3N Diagnostic Group. Prior to these roles, Nikos worked as the Chief Revenue Officer for Praesidium, where they brought next-generation consumer products to families worldwide. Nikos also served as the VP of Solutions at Slync.io, focusing on API-first integrations and one-stop-shop visibility. Earlier in their career, Nikos held strategic and operational roles at Deloitte, where they led the implementation of a digital supply chain control tower, supported cross-entity supply chain integration for a major life sciences acquisition, and redesigned the new product regulatory submission process. Nikos also worked as a Performance Analyst at the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Nikos Papageorgiou completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Democritus University of Thrace from 1996 to 2001. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, graduating in 2003. In 2005, Nikos Papageorgiou enrolled in the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business, where they earned an MBA degree specializing in Operations Management and Finance in 2006. Additionally, they obtained certification as a Lean Six Sigma - Black Belt from the GaTech Executive Education Program in May 2006.
