Barry Smyth MII has a diverse range of work experience in the hospitality industry. Barry started their career at Seafield Golf and Spa Hotel in 2008, where they worked as an Events Manager until 2013. Barry then moved on to The Marker, where they served as an Assistant Director of Food & Beverage from 2013 to 2015. Currently, Barry is the Head of Operations Outdoor Division at Fitzers Catering Limited, a position they have held since 2015.

Barry Smyth MII's education history starts in 1994 when they attended Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology. Barry pursued a Diploma in hospitality Management and completed their studies in 1997. After a gap, Barry furthered their education by attending the Markeing Institute of Ireland/DIT from 2006 to 2009.
