Jeff Godfredson

Director Customer Relations at FLAIM Systems

Jeff Godfredson has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of fire safety and emergency services. Jeff has held various roles in different organizations throughout their career.

In 1968, Jeff began their career in the Australian Army as a Soldier, serving for two years until 1970. Jeff then joined the Metropolitan Fire Brigade (MFB), where they worked as a Firefighter and rose through the ranks to become the Chief Fire Officer. During their time at MFB, Jeff gained experience in operations, fire safety, training, and fire investigation.

In 1984, Jeff joined the Northern Territory Police, Fire, and Emergency Services as the Chief Fire Officer. Jeff held this role for two years before moving on to other opportunities.

In 1998, Jeff joined the NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) as the Director for the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions. Jeff mainly focused on China and was based in Hong Kong for three years.

In 2005, Jeff worked as a Senior Manager at NAFFCO FZCO for a year before joining GLOBAL SAFETY SOLUTIONS LIMITED in 2006. At GLOBAL SAFETY SOLUTIONS LIMITED, Jeff worked as a Consultant on various projects within Australia and overseas while also pursuing their Doctoral studies.

Most recently, in 2017, Jeff joined FLAIM Systems as the Director of Customer Relations, where they currently hold the position.

Jeff Godfredson has a Doctorate in Business Administration from Victoria University. Jeff also holds a master's degree in Public Policy and Management from Monash University and a Graduate Diploma in Organization Behavior from Swinburne University of Technology. Jeff has completed a Graduate Executive Fire officer Program at the National Fire Academy, USA. Additionally, they have participated in several programs at Harvard Kennedy School, including the Program for Senior Executives in State and Local Government, Leadership for the 21st Century, and Strategic Public Sector Negotiation.
