Michael Haas has extensive work experience in the field of research and development. Michael started their career at Children's Hospital Boston, Harvard Medical School, where they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow from 2002 to 2006. During this time, they conducted studies on insulin resistance and diabetes, identifying phosphorylation sites in the IRS-1 protein and investigating the role of p55PIK in insulin and IGF-I signaling.
From 2005 to 2016, Haas worked at DecImmune Therapeutics as a Senior Scientist. Here, they secured significant funding for drug development and established a mouse model for evaluating heart injury and other relevant tissues.

From 1998 to 2002, Michael pursued a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Medical Sciences, specializing in Pharmacology, with a particular emphasis on the Department of Cardiovascular Biology and Metabolic Diseases. Michael began their education journey by earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Stonehill College, where they studied from 1991 to 1995.
