John Goddard has extensive work experience in various roles primarily in the automotive industry. JOHN started their career as an Assistant Coach and Team Manager for Team Texas 17 in 1997 and worked there until 2011. During this time, they trained and coached varsity level girls in basketball and prepared them for college basketball.

In 1998, John joined Sam Pack's Ford Country of Lewisville as a Service Advisor and later became the Service Manager. JOHN managed a highly rated Service Department, consistently achieving high rankings in Ford Customer Viewpoint ratings, commodity sales, and contests. JOHN also had a strong focus on community involvement and fostering a family atmosphere in the dealership. JOHN worked there until 2011.

From 2011 to 2014, John worked as a Service Manager at Rich Ford Sales. JOHN oversaw a 52-person staff across two locations and prioritized providing quality, fast, and efficient service to customers. JOHN was actively involved in the community and aimed to create a family-friendly dealership.

In 2013, John briefly took on the role of Head Coach for the New Mexico Select Girls Basketball Club until 2014. JOHN then joined David McDavid Ford of Fort Worth as a Service Advisor and worked there until 2015, where they focused on meeting and greeting customers and facilitating their service needs.

From 2015 to 2018, John worked as an Assistant Service Manager at Grapevine Ford, where they handled customer interactions and facilitated their service needs.

In 2018, John joined CDK Global as an Implementation Consultant, a role they held until 2021. During this time, they also took on the position of Software Implementation Manager-Fixed Ops from 2021 to 2022.

Currently, since 2022, John is the Software Implementation Specialist Team Lead at UpdatePromise.

John Goddard attended Southern Methodist University from 1983 to 1985, where they studied Communication, General. Prior to that, they completed their College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program at Culver Military Academy from 1980 to 1983. In 1979, they attended McKinney High School, although the field of study is unknown.
