Brian Sloan

Brian Sloan has extensive experience as a software engineer and developer. Brian is currently employed as an Engineering Lead at Flashpoint since September 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Flashpoint from January 2020 to September 2021. Before joining Flashpoint, Brian worked at Spotify as a Software Engineer from March 2019 to January 2020. Brian also worked at 2U as a Software Engineer from October 2016 to March 2019, and at Plum Analytics as a Software Engineer from February 2015 to October 2016. Brian has experience working at IPsoft as a Software Engineer from September 2014 to February 2015. Additionally, they worked at The Metropolitan Museum of Art as a Software Developer from April 2014 to September 2014, where they were responsible for the development and maintenance of content management applications. Brian started their career at ProQuest as a Software Developer, where they contributed to a large scale content acquisition and ingestion pipeline from January 2011 to April 2014.

From 2013 to 2016, Brian Sloan attended The City University of New York, where they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Linguistics.
