Cailey Myers has a diverse work experience. Cailey began their career as a Campaign Intern for Lindsay Parkhurst in 2016. Cailey then worked as a Teacher's Assistant and Research Assistant at Olivet Nazarene University from 2016 to 2017. In 2017, they joined AmeriCorps as a Legal Intern and also worked as a Legal Intern for Kankakee State Attorney. From 2018 to 2018, Cailey worked as a Paralegal at Children's Legal Services. Cailey then transitioned into politics, serving as a Congressional Intern, Staff Assistant, Staff Assistant/Legislative Correspondent, and finally as a Digital Director and Press Secretary for the U.S. House of Representatives from 2019 to 2021. Cailey then joined the State of Florida as the Deputy Digital Director for Governor DeSantis from 2021 to 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Communications at The Florida Department of Education starting from 2023.
