Matthew Phillips

Matthew Phillips is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in software engineering and management. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Software Engineering at Fleetworthy since February 2025, Matthew previously held various roles at Bestpass from July 2021 to February 2025, including Director of Software Engineering and Senior Software Engineering Manager. Prior to that, Matthew was at Captira for nearly 18 years, serving as Software Engineering Advisor and Chief Technology Officer, where a comprehensive software solution for the bail bond industry was designed and developed. Earlier in the career, Matthew worked as a Developer at EXEControl Global Solutions, focusing on building business relationships and operational systems. Matthew holds an MBA and a BS in Computer Engineering from Clarkson University.
