Matt Tehonica

Matt Tehonica has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Matt started their career as a Technical Support Assistant at the State University of New York at Oswego in 2003. From there, they worked as an Intern at the US Army in 2006 and later joined Verizon as a Fiber Customer Support Analyst.

In 2011, Matt joined DUMAC Business Systems, Inc. as a Virtualization & Storage Administrator / IT Installation Technician. Matt then moved on to Delhaize Group in 2012, where they worked on Wintel Server Platforms and Virtualization.

In 2013, Matt joined Varrow as an Enterprise Engineer and later became a Project Leader of Infrastructure at Chiquita. Matt joined Flexential in 2014 as a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer and has since taken on various roles within the company, including Platform Architect and Director of Platform Design.

Currently, Matt holds the position of Director of Cloud Engineering at Flexential.

Matt Tehonica completed their education in Information Technology at the State University of New York at Oswego, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Matt obtained additional certifications from various institutions, including VMware, Cisco, Examination Institute for Information Science (EXIN), and CompTIA. Some of their certifications include VMware Certified Advanced Professional 5 - Datacenter Design (VCAP5-DCD), Cisco Certified Network Associate: Data Center (CCNA: DC), VMware Certified Advanced Professional 5 - Datacenter Administration (VCAP5-DCA), ITILv3 Foundation, VMware Certified Associate - Cloud (VCA-Cloud), Cisco Certified Network Associate: Routing and Switching (CCNA: R&S), VMware Certified Professional 5: Datacenter Virtualization (VCP5-DCV), and CompTIA A+ Certification.
