Gene Remie

Gene Remie has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several years. Gene'smost recent role was as the Division Director of Human Resources at Floor & Decor, where they started in June 2023. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2023, they worked at Global Partners LP, where they served as the Director of Human Resources and also held the position of Regional Human Resources Business Partner. At Christmas Tree Shops, from 2017 to 2018, Gene worked as the District Human Resources Manager, handling various responsibilities such as leading a team, managing associate relations investigations, and implementing talent assessment programs. From 2016 to 2017, they held the role of Regional Human Resources Manager at Advance Auto Parts, where they supported a team and focused on driving sales and service results. Gene also worked at Sears Holdings Corporation from 2010 to 2016, first as the Market Human Resources Manager in Boston and later as an Operations Manager. Gene'sresponsibilities included talent management, team performance, and overseeing HR functions. Prior to that, at The Home Depot from 2005 to 2010, they held roles as a Regional Faculty Trainer and an Area Human Resources Manager. Gene's earliest work experience can be traced back to Volta Oil Company, Inc. from 1999 to 2005, where they served as the Human Resources Manager. Before that, from 1996 to 1999, they were the Transportation Operations Manager at the same company. Gene'scareer began at Rent-A-Center from 1992 to 1996 as a Store Manager, and prior to that, they worked at Princess Dry Cleaners from 1987 to 1992 as the General Manager.

Gene Remie attended Cape Cod Community College from 1984 to 1985, where they studied Business Theory, Economics, Accounting, and Business Administration. Prior to that, from 1983 to 1984, they attended the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, focusing on Business Administration. Gene Remie also completed their high school education at Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School.
