Jeff Mitchell

Jeff Mitchell is a Senior Lecturer at the Florida Institute of Technology, teaching graduate level courses in Space Systems Engineering and Space Management. With extensive experience in the aerospace industry, Jeff served as a Senior Engineer at United Space Alliance, focusing on astronaut safety and Extra Vehicular Activities, and held the position of Director of Ground Operations at SPACEHAB, overseeing the processing of Spacehab flight modules for the Space Shuttle. Prior roles included Manager of Test Operations at Boeing and an engineering position at NASA, where Jeff tested spacecraft and led payload testing operations for the Space Shuttle. Jeff holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, and Astrophysics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master's degree in Space Systems from the Florida Institute of Technology.
