Timo Drewes

Timo Drewes has a strong background in project management and leadership roles in the energy industry. Timo is currently serving as the Regional Director for Growing Markets at Fluence, where they oversee operations in specific markets. Before that, they worked as the Director of South Europe Delivery and Senior Project Manager at the same company. Prior to their time at Fluence, Timo held positions at Siemens Gamesa as a Senior Project Manager and Project Manager, where they managed wind turbine projects and collaborated with colleagues across departments and regions. Timo also gained experience in tender management and project development at E.ON, and worked as a Project Engineer and Research Assistant in the field of turbomachinery and fluid dynamics. Timo's expertise lies in project and contract management, as well as team leadership and development.

Timo Drewes obtained a Diploma/M.Sc in Engineering/Industrial Management from Leibniz Universität Hannover from 2005 to 2011. During this time, they also worked as a Research Assistant at Griffith University, focusing on a wind and solar project thesis from 2009 to 2010. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including a PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) in 2021 and a Project Management Professional (PMP) in 2019. Timo has also completed certifications in strategic planning, executive leadership, and claim management, among others.
