Özcan Gündeş

Özcan Gündeş has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and business analytics. Özcan currently works as a Data Scientist at FLYR Labs since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Data Scientist at TripActions from September 2021 to September 2022.

Özcan Gündeş also co-founded Barty, a c2c Money-free Shopping Platform, where they served as a Data Science & Co-founder from October 2019 to February 2021. Their role involved promoting re-use and maximizing the lifespan of products in the circular economy.

Before joining Barty, they worked at PRINCIPAI as a Senior Data Scientist and NLP & ML Researcher from September 2019 to January 2021.

In 2021, they also completed a course in Deploy Machine Learning Models on GCP + AWS Lambda (Docker) from Udemy and Introduction to Git and GitHub from Coursera. In 2020, Özcan accomplished certifications in Natural Language Processing Specialization, Natural Language Processing with Attention Models, Natural Language Processing with Sequence Models, Browser-based Models with TensorFlow.js, Natural Language Processing with Classification and Vector Spaces, Natural Language Processing with Probabilistic Models, and Python from various institutions such as Coursera and Kaggle.
