Christina Jones

Christina Jones is an experienced educator currently serving as the Head of Senior Mathematics and Science/Numeracy Learning Specialist and the Head of Department - Science at Footscray High School since January 2022. Christina has been associated with the Department of Education & Training, Victoria, since January 2020 as a Classroom Teacher and previously worked as a Casual Relief Teacher at anzuk Education. From February 2015 to January 2020, Christina held the position of Treasurer for the Eastern Goldfields College branch of the State School Teacher's Union in Western Australia. Christina's teaching experience includes roles in Mathematics/Biology at the Department of Education, Western Australia, and tutoring high-performing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students through the Follow The Dream program. Christina's earlier experiences also include working as a Center Assistant at Kicks After School and a Quality Assurance Officer at TSA TELCO GROUP. Christina holds a Bachelor of Education (Secondary) and a Bachelor of Sport Science, complemented by a Cert III in Applied Languages (Indonesian).
