Chichi Aniagolu-Okoye

ChiChi Aniagolu-Okoye holds a PhD in Sociology from University College Cork and has extensive experience in leadership roles across various nonprofit organizations. Currently serving as Regional Director for West Africa at the Ford Foundation since September 2021, ChiChi previously held the position of Country Director at TechnoServe, focusing on business solutions to poverty. Prior experiences include Country Director roles at Girl Effect and Oxfam in Nigeria, as well as a Trustee role at the South Saharan Social Development Organisation. ChiChi’s career also includes significant contributions as Director for the Canadian International Development Agency and Deputy Programme Director for the EU-Support to Reforming Institutions Programme, emphasizing gender mainstreaming and civil society capacity building. ChiChi began professional endeavors as the Representative for West Africa at Ashoka from 2000 to 2006.
