Alinafe Chibwana is an experienced professional in climate change, rural development, and environmental management. Currently serving as Country Coordinator at the USDA Forest Service since November 2018, Alinafe has held significant roles including USFS-APM Coordinator at Management and Engineering Technologies International, Inc. (METI) and REDD+ Advisor at Tetra Tech. Previous positions include Malawi REDD+ Associate with the Malawi REDD+ Readiness Project and Climate Change Officer in the National Climate Change Program.
