Marie Persson is an accomplished project manager with a focus on sustainability transitions and knowledge development in the food sector. Currently working at Tillväxtverket on the Swedish Food Strategy, Marie aims to enhance collaboration across government and sectors. Additionally, Marie serves as a member of the advisory group to the National Committee on Food Research at Formas and has previously contributed to various initiatives related to food policy, climate transition, and sustainable development through roles at organizations such as New Food Planet, the Nordic Council, and the Food Climate Research Network. Marie holds a Master's degree in International Administration and Global Governance from the University of Gothenburg, along with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Uppsala University.
