Jeremy Arkin

Jeremy Arkin is currently a Remote Sensing Specialist at Forsite Consultants, where Jeremy supports the development of wildfire risk mitigation plans for various clients. Previously, Jeremy completed their PhD in Forest Resources Management at The University of British Columbia, focusing on the application of remotely derived point clouds for pre- and post-fire applications. Jeremy has also worked as a Seasonal Forestry/GIS Technician at Colorado Parks & Wildlife and Boulder County, conducting forestry projects and forest stand inventories. Additionally, Jeremy has experience as a UROP Researcher and an Undergraduate Researcher in biogeography and lab technician roles. Jeremy holds Bachelor's Degrees in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, as well as Geographic Information Science and Cartography from the University of Colorado Boulder.
