Amanda Nelson

Amanda Nelson has extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Amanda has held various leadership roles in different companies, primarily focusing on HR operations, total rewards, HR technology, talent management, and systems management.

Most recently, Amanda worked at Fortune Brands Innovations as the VP of HR Operations & People Services, where they led the HR Operations Group and transformed HR service delivery across the company. Prior to that, they served as the VP of HR at Therma-Tru Doors, leading the HR Center of Excellence Team and overseeing total rewards, HR technology, and HR integration of acquisitions.

Before joining Therma-Tru Doors, Amanda worked as the Director of HR at Fortune Brands Windows & Doors, where they managed compensation, benefits, HRIS, and business process improvement initiatives. Amanda also held various HR roles at Dana Corporation, including HR Service Delivery Manager, Six Sigma Black Belt, Human Resource Manager, and HR Trainee.

Throughout their career, Amanda has focused on improving HR processes, implementing strategic HR initiatives, and driving employee engagement and development.

Amanda Nelson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology & Human Resources from Taylor University, which they obtained from 1994 to 1997. Amanda also earned a Master's degree in General Psychology from Ball State University between 1997 and 1999. Additionally, Amanda has obtained various certifications throughout their career, including the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from HRCI in 2010 and the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM in 2015.
