Nate Eckel

Nate Eckel has extensive work experience in the field of ASIC design engineering. Nate is currently working as a Principal ASIC Design Engineer at ForwardEdge ASIC, where they started in 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Micron Technology from 2008 to 2023 in various roles, including Principal ASIC Design Engineer and Senior ASIC Design Engineer. At Micron, Nate's responsibilities included the design of a DRAM memory interface for a stacked DRAM controller, with a focus on low power consumption and high throughput. Nate also contributed to the development of innovative circuits and interfaces. Before Micron, Nate worked at UNISYS from 2000 to 2008 as a Senior Hardware Engineer, where they designed a high-speed cache-coherent front side bus interface and controller block. Nate also supervised interns and guided and supervised other engineers on design tasks. Nate started their career as an intern at Rockwell Collins in 1998.

Nate Eckel obtained a BSEE in Electrical Engineering from the University of North Dakota, from 1996 to 1999.
