Dora Lau

Dora Lau has extensive experience in quality engineering and project management. Dora began their career at Unilever as a Research Chemist, where they conducted research on skin lightening agents. Dora then worked at PKI as a Senior Scientist, evaluating new software and hardware platforms and managing quality data systems. Dora then became a Project Manager/Quality Engineer at STD MED, leading engineering projects and developing quality engineering methodologies. Dora later worked as a Contractor at Cardiosolutions, ensuring compliance with FDA and ISO standards and participating in design control activities. Dora then joined Waters Corporation as a Senior Design Quality Assurance Engineer, ensuring adherence to ISO requirements and providing quality engineering support to specific projects. Dora also served as a Senior QA Engineer at Waters Corporation, managing the CAPA system and delivering training on CAPA and risk management. Most recently, Dora joined Foundation Medicine as a Principal Quality Engineer.

Dora Lau obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Mount Holyoke College from 1994 to 1998. Dora then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus in Finance, General from Rensselaer at Work between 1999 and 2002. Lastly, they completed a Master of Science (MS) in Chemistry at Southern Connecticute University from 2005 to 2007.
