Jay Kurtz, MBA, SPHR has extensive work experience in human resources and leadership roles. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President Human Resources at Foundation Partners Group. Before that, they served as Sr. Vice President, Human Resources at Emerus Holdings, Inc. from 2019 to 2021. From 2015 to 2019, Jay worked at Baylor Scott & White Health, where they held the positions of Regional Director, HR Strategic Services and Interim System Director, Organizational Development – Recognition. Prior to that, they worked at Boehringer Ingelheim from 2001 to 2015, holding various roles including Associate Director of Human Resources, Associate Director of Communications & Public Relations, Interim HR Manager, and HR Generalist. Jay's early career included a role as a Corporate Recruiter at WCI Communities in 2001.

Jay Kurtz holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from WGU Texas. Jay also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management Human Resources from The University of Akron. In addition to their degrees, Jay has acquired the Crucial Accountability Trainer and Crucial Conversations Trainer certifications from VitalSmarts. Jay is also a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certified by the HR Certification Institute (HRCI).
