Ranil Weerakkody

Ranil Weerakkody has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. From 2012 to present, they have been with the Franz Morat Group, where they currently hold the position of Head of Sales & Project Management. In this role, they are responsible for leading the sales team and overseeing project management. Prior to this, they served as the Team Leader Project Management and Projektmanager, where they managed customer-specific projects in the field of drive technology and automotive. Ranil led international project teams, organized customer visits and internal meetings, and ensured adherence to budgets, quality standards, and project timelines. From 2013 to 2014, Ranil worked in the field of procurement, where they were responsible for procuring raw materials and coordinating outsourcing. Lastly, in 2012, they started their career as a Trainee at the Franz Morat Group.

Before joining the Franz Morat Group, Ranil worked at RIEKER GRUPPE from 2007 to 2011. Ranil served as a Vetriebscontroller, responsible for the controlling of subsidiary companies in the USA, Canada, and UK. Ranil also supported the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and assisted in budget planning for all subsidiary companies. Prior to this role, they were a Student at the Berufsakademie from 2007 to 2010.

From 2007 to 2010, Ranil Weerakkody attended the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW), where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaften.
