Wallace Oakley is responsible for the company's human capital strategy, future of work and employee engagement efforts focused on growing talent for today and tomorrow. She leads a team of experts who deliver best-in-class practices in talent management, compensation, rewards and recognition, and total well-being, along with HR solutions such as workforce technology, strategic workforce data, analytics and insights, among others, to position Freddie Mac as an employer of choice.
Prior to Freddie Mac, Wallace Oakley served as executive vice president, Human Resources and Strategy at Erie Insurance. Prior to Erie, she spent more than two decades at State Farm Insurance where she progressed through multiple geographies, positions and disciplines ranging from underwriting, public affairs, auto claims, agency recruiting and human resources.
Wallace Oakley earned a bachelor's degree in marketing and business from Delaware State University and a master's in human resource development from Towson University in Baltimore. She is a member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and a board member of the HR Policy Association.
