Abigail Lis-Perlis

Abigail Lis-Perlis serves as Program Manager - Digital Security and was previously Newsroom Services Manager at Freedom of the Press Foundation since September 2021, where responsibilities include managing training and consulting services for journalists and human rights workers. As the Artistic Director and Founder of folkLAB since September 2017, Abigail has led an interdisciplinary community art project focused on underrepresented artists, overseeing all aspects of project management, community engagement, and fundraising. Abigail has also worked as an Educator at City of Bridges High School, teaching electives in the arts with a focus on intersectional analysis and trauma-informed practices. Additionally, as a Content Development Specialist at BloomBoard, Inc., content for a micro-credential learning management system was created, while prior experience at Ace Hotel included managing restaurant operations, such as inventory and staff training.
