William M. has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 2012 with a role as a Mining Engineer at Drummond Company. William then moved on to Senior Engineer at Luminant in 2013, where they performed short range, long range, and reclamation planning duties. In 2017, they interned as a Manufacturing Controls Engineer Intern at STEMCO, where they worked on their Masters in Computer Science at UT Tyler. In 2018, they held roles as a Data Analytics & Marketing Intern at Ingersoll Rand and a Software Engineer Coop at Trane. In 2019, they were a Software Engineer for NCIC Inmate Communications Inc and worked as an independent contractor for OreControl Blasting Consultants as a Software Engineer. In 2020, they were a Software Engineer, Owner at Loblolly Software LLC and worked as an independent contractor for FreeWill as a Senior Software Engineer. Finally, in 2021, they were a Software Engineering Team Lead and Senior Software Engineer at BackboneAI.

William M. earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mining Engineering with a minor in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines in 2010. In 2016, they obtained Surface Coal New Miner Training from the Msha Dept of Labor. In 2015, they obtained MSHA Surface Certified from the Msha Dept of Labor. William also holds an inactive Professional Engineering License from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers. In 2017, they completed a Master of Science - MS in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Tyler in 2019.
