Jamie Peters has a diverse range of work experience in the environmental and climate change sectors. They have held various roles with organizations such as Friends of the Earth, UKYCC, Glasgow Future Cities, YOUNGO, Grow Green - Playbusters, Greenpeace, United Kingdom Youth Climate Coalition (UKYCC), University of St Andrews, and Aberdeen University Students' Association. Their roles have included acting as an Acting Director of Campaign Impact, Campaign Lead, Community Organizer, Co-Director, International Policy Trainer, Project Coordinator, Focal Point, Youth Grow Green Officer, Compass Ambassador, Scotland Coalition Officer/UN COP17 Delegation Member, Sustainability Project Manager, and Climate Change Project Coordinator.
