Richard Neve

Richard Neve has over 25 years of work experience in the field of scientific research. Richard is currently employed at Frontier Medicines as the Senior Director of Disease Biology, a position they have held since January 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Gilead Sciences as a Senior Research Scientist II from July 2015 to November 2019. Richard also had an extensive tenure at Genentech, where they served as a Scientist from August 2007 to July 2015. Before joining Genentech, they worked at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory as a Scientist from July 2003 to August 2007. Richard started their career at the UCSF Comprehensive Cancer Center, where they held the positions of Assistant Researcher from February 2003 to June 2004 and Postdoctoral Fellow from January 2000 to January 2003. Richard also conducted postgraduate studies at the Friedrich Miescher Institute (Novartis) from 1995 to 1999. Throughout their career, Richard has gained valuable expertise and knowledge in disease biology and scientific research.

Richard Neve completed their BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Bath from 1989 to 1993. Richard then pursued a PhD in Molecular Oncology from the Friedrich Miescher Institute, which they completed between 1995 and 2000. Finally, from 2000 to 2003, Richard Neve attended the University of California, San Francisco to study Molecular Oncology.
