Ting-Li Lin

Senior Research Scientist at Frontier Science

Ting-Li Lin has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. In 2005, they worked as a Statistical Consultant at the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, University of Wisconsin-Madison. From 2007 to 2012, they served as a Statistical Consultant at the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, University of Wisconsin-Madison. In 2010, they also took on the role of Associate Lecturer at the Department of Statistics, University of Wisconsin-Madison. In 2012, they joined Nexcyon Pharmaceuticals, Inc as a Senior Statistician. Following that, they worked as a Biostatistician II at Frontier Science & Technology Research Foundation, Inc. From 2012 to 2017, Ting-Li held the position of Senior Statistician at Frontier Science & Technology Research Foundation, Inc. In 2015, they co-founded Snowforest and served as the Principal Photographer. In 2017, Ting-Li started their own consultancy called Briostat and worked as the Proprietor / Principal Consultant. They also became involved with the Chinese Taipei Curling Federation in 2018, where they held the positions of Deputy Director of International Affairs and later Director of Media until 2022. In 2017, Ting-Li started working at Frontier Science & Technology Research Foundation, Inc again, this time as a Research Scientist, progressing to the role of Senior Biostatistician in 2020 and eventually Senior Research Scientist in 2022. In 2023, they will start working as the Deputy Secretary General at the Chinese Taipei Curling Federation. Throughout their career, Ting-Li has showcased their expertise in biostatistics, research, and consulting.

Ting-Li Lin holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Statistics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which was completed in 2011. Prior to this, Ting-Li obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Statistics from the same institution in 2005. Ting-Li's educational journey commenced with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physical Therapy from National Taiwan University in 2000.

In addition to their academic achievements, Ting-Li has obtained several certifications. In April 2019, they completed the SafeSport Trained certification from the U.S. Center for SafeSport. In August 2018, Ting-Li earned a Remote Pilot Certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration. Ting-Li has also obtained a Level I Instructor certification from USA Curling, although the specific month and year of its completion are not provided.
