Geetu Mendiratta

Geetu Mendiratta, PhD, FACMG is currently working as a Laboratory Director at Fulgent Genetics since 2023. Previously, they held the position of Director and Assistant Professor at Sema4 from 2018 to 2023. Before that, they worked at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where they held various roles including Assistant Professor, Associate Director Molecular Genetics Laboratory, and Assistant Director Molecular Genetics Laboratory from 2013 to 2019. Geetu also served as an ABMGG Clinical Molecular Genetics Fellow during this time. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Scientist at Cancer Genetics Inc. from 2011 to 2013. Geetu started their career as a Research Fellow at MSKCC from 2008 to 2011 and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institutes of Health from 2004 to 2006.

Geetu Mendiratta, PhD, FACMG, completed their education in the field of Biomedical Sciences. Geetu earned a Ph.D. and MSc from Delhi University between 1998 and 2004. Prior to that, they obtained a B.Sc. in Microbiology from Delhi University, graduating between 1995 and 1998. In addition, Geetu has obtained the certification of "Verified International Academic Qualifications" from the World Education Services in 2023.
