Ed Vilandrie

Ed Vilandrie is a Senior Advisor for Burda Principal Investments and Sixth Street Capital Partners, where he is tasked with advising both clients on their investments in the digital communications industries. Previously, Ed was co-founder and co-CEO at Altman Vilandrie & Company for 18 years. There he helped build the Technology Media Telecom focused consulting firm into a global strategic advisor to communications service providers, equipment manufacturers, content creators/aggregators, and private equity investors. Ed led numerous client initiatives to transform overall corporate strategy, operations and go to market plans, leveraging industry-specific knowledge, analytics and business creativity.

Ed also serves on multiple other for-profit and non-profit Boards, including Involta, the Fairbanks Museum (Chairperson), Green Mountain Valley School and is also on the Governor of Vermont’s Economic Recovery Taskforce related to Covid-19.

Prior to Altman Vilandrie, Ed was a Vice President at Cambridge Strategic Management Group and a Research Analyst at Cambridge Economics, an MIT-based economics consulting firm. Ed received his Sc.B. in Applied-Mathematics from Brown University.
