Balazs Birton

Balazs Birton has a diverse work experience in the technology and telecommunications industry. Balazs started their career in 2002 as an IT Helpdesk Team Leader at Central European University Inc. Budapest. In 2003, they worked at Telekom HU as a Call Center and Internet Helpdesk employee. From 2004 to 2009, Birton served as a Customer Experience and Operation Manager at Liberty Global, where they established the National Customer Care Technical Contact Center and managed call center operations.

In 2009, Birton became a Network Operation Director at Liberty Global, where they transformed customer network service, established a country NOC, and created a Training and Grading System for Field Operations Technical teams. From 2014 to 2017, they held the role of CNO & Vice President Network Operation, Member of the board UPC Poland at Liberty Global. During this time, Birton achieved significant increases in transactional troubleshooting Net Promoter Score, spearheaded a large-scale expansion initiative, and led a reduction in operational expenses.

Since 2017, Birton has been serving as the Vice President Technology Operation, LATAM and The Caribbean at Liberty Latin America. In this role, they have demonstrated strong financial acumen, achieved cost reductions, and led market expansion projects.
