Alicia BACK

Alicia Back has a diverse work experience in interpretation, translation, and language services. Alicia is currently working as a Korean Translator and Social Media Manager at Gala Games. Prior to this, Alicia founded and managed Alicia Back Language Services LLC, where they provided interpreting and translation services in various fields such as IT, legal affairs, politics, diplomacy, and more. Alicia built strong relationships with clients including Shin & Kim, Translation Cooperative, Sotong Inc., and Hyundai Capital. Alicia also worked with organizations like UNDP, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Finance and Economy, and French Trade Commission. Alicia has experience as a Certified Court Interpreter at the North Carolina Administrative Office of the Courts and has worked as a freelance interpreter for the East West Center's Korea-US Journalists Exchange. In addition, Alicia has worked as an off-site translator for Shin & Kim and as an interpreter for Hyundai Capital America, Hyundai Card·Life·Capital·Commercial, and the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy. Alicia started their career as a Finance & Accounting Trainee at Sofitel Ambassador Seoul.

Alicia BACK completed their high school education at Daewon Foreign Language High School from 2001 to 2004, with a focus on English and French. Alicia then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality from EHL, graduating in 2008. Continuing their education, Alicia obtained a Master of Arts degree in GSIT (Korean, English, French) from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies between 2010 and 2012.
