Beatrix Arjona-Mendez has extensive work experience in the field of education. Beatrix began their career at the West New York Board of Education in 2000 as a Master Teacher and Preschool Teacher, where they worked until 2004. In 2004, they joined the Garfield Board of Education as an Early Childhood Supervisor and later served as the Principal from 2011 to 2023. Beatrix also held the position of Director of Human Resources from 2023 onwards.
Beatrix Arjona-Mendez received a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education from New Jersey City University in 1996.
