James Desiderio

James Desiderio has over thirty-five years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. James began their career in 1984 as Senior Director at Bristol-Myers Squibb. In 1997, they moved to Gilead Sciences and held the role of Senior Director. In 2007, they joined Acceleron Pharma, Inc. as Sr. Vice President, Regulatory Affairs & Quality. James is currently employed at Garuda Therapeutics as Chief Regulatory Officer, a position they have held since 2022.

James Desiderio received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Immunology from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, a Master of Science (MS) in Veterinary Medicine from the same institution, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology from Southampton College LIU.
