Dhvanit Shah has extensive experience in the field of medicine. Dhvanit is currently the Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Garuda Therapeutics. Prior to this, they were a Principal Faculty at the Harvard Stem Cell Institute from 2015 to 2021, an Associate Professor at the Ohio State University College of Medicine from 2018 to 2021, a Full Member at the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center from 2015 to 2021, an Associate Member at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard from 2015 to 2021, an Instructor in Medicine and Post Doctoral Fellow at Harvard Medical School/ Brigham and Women's Hospital from 2006 to 2010, an Associate Scientist at Brigham and Women's Hospital from 2010 to 2015, and a Senior Research Fellow at Punjabi University, Patiala, India from 2003 to 2006.

Dhvanit Shah began their educational career in 1997, when they earned a B.Pharm. from K B Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (Gujarat University) in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences. In 2001, they earned an M.Pharm. from L M College of Pharmacy (Gujarat University) in the field of Pharmcology & Toxicology. In 2003, they earned a Ph.D. from Punjabi University in the field of Pharmacology & Toxicology/Medicine. In 2006, they completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Harvard Medical School. In 2009, they attended Harvard Business School, studying IBCS.
