Andrew Honda

Andrew Honda has a diverse work experience background. Andrew started their career as an undergraduate researcher at UC San Diego, where they focused on finding a synthetic defined matrix for growing and differentiating embryonic stem cells. Andrew'sresponsibilities included designing and testing novel matrixes by culturing and monitoring embryonic stem cells using peptide micro-arrays.

After that, they worked as a research assistant at The Scripps Research Institute, specifically in the Law Lab. Andrew'smain responsibility was overseeing the in vivo portion of the research, which involved producing and verifying antigens, immunizing animals, taking blood and tissue samples, and testing those samples for neutralizing and binding activity.

Andrew then joined Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) as a doctor, from January 2021 until February 2023.

Andrew's most recent work experience is as a Graduate Data Analyst at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research.

Currently, they are employed as an SRMO at St Vincent's Health Australia.

Andrew Honda earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biochemistry from UC San Diego in the years 2009 to 2013. Andrew also pursued further education in the same field at Utrecht University from 2011 to 2012. Later on, Andrew attended the University of Sydney from 2017 to 2020, where they achieved a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. No specific field of study was provided for their MD degree.
