Joana Nunes has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Joana began their career as a Back Office Employee at Reditus Consulting, S.A. in 2011. Joana then worked as a Sales Assistant at A Loja do Gato Preto and later became an Assistant Manager at Alberto's Restaurant from 2012 to 2015. From 2015 to 2019, Joana worked at Rituals, first as a Sales Associate and then as an Assistant Manager. At Rituals, they also held various customer service roles, including Customer Service Representative, Customer Service Mentor, and finally as a Customer Relations Team Lead. Joana excelled in their role by overseeing the team's performance, interacting with stakeholders, and driving operational effectiveness. In 2023, Joana joined Gato Preto as the Head of Customer Experience.

Joana Nunes obtained a Licentiate degree in Biology, General from Instituto Politécnico de Beja, which they completed from 2007 to 2011.
