Paul King

Paul King has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Paul started their career in 1999 as a Purchasing Recruitment Consultant at Procurement Services Limited, where they were responsible for the permanent and contract desk within the manufacturing and defense industries. Paul then worked as a Premium Banking Advisor at Royal Bank of Scotland Business for a brief period in 2001.

In 2002, Paul joined Matchtech as a Technical Recruitment Consultant and was later promoted to Team Leader of 6 consultants. Paul handled recruitment for the Automotive, Aerospace, and Rail Division, sourcing permanent and contractual staff for various SMEs and large corporate clients.

From 2004 to 2007, Paul worked at Experis as a Senior Account Manager, leading a team of 4 Account Managers. Paul was responsible for managing a client spend of approximately £21m per annum and mentored additional members of the resource team.

In 2007, Paul joined hyphen Recruitment Outsourcing as an Account Director, overseeing P&L and operational delivery for four RPO or MSP Recruitment Programs. Paul managed accounts for Nokia UK, IBM, Prudential, and GlaxoSmithKline, implementing change management and ATS technology.

In 2010, Paul joined Alexander Mann Solutions as the Global Head of Client Services. Paul played a key role in devising and driving the global talent acquisition strategy for clients in the retail banking, investment banking, and healthcare sectors. Paul managed a team of up to 150 people located in over 60 countries and delivered various recruitment services and programs on a global basis.

Most recently, Paul worked at Gattaca, where they held multiple roles. Paul started as a Client Solutions Director in 2016 and later became the Managing Director of Gattaca Solutions & Head of UK Delivery in 2018. From April 2022, they have served as the Chief Operating Officer, responsible for overseeing the company's operations.

Paul King completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Henley Business School from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they earned a BSc in Marketing and Business Administration from Solent University, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. In their earlier education, Paul attended Barton Peveril 6th Form College in Eastleigh from 1995 to 1997, where they studied Business Studies, History, and Physical Education. Before attending college, they studied at Wildern School in Hedge End from 1990 to 1995, where they obtained their GCSE's with grades A-C, including subjects like English and Maths.
