Rebecca Eakins Alvord

Rebecca Eakins Alvord has an extensive work experience in the industrial design field. Rebecca started their career at GE Consumer & Industrial as an intern in 2004. Afterward, they worked at GE Appliances in various roles, including Industrial Design Contractor for Refrigeration and Industrial Design Manager for the Bottom Freezer Product line and the Dishwasher business. In those positions, they led design efforts and successfully launched several large products. Later on, Alvord became a Senior Industrial Designer and then a Principal Industrial Designer for GE Appliances' Brand and Concepts Team. In addition to their work at GE, they also served as a Board Member and Vice-President of the IDSA (The Industrial Designers Society of America).

Rebecca Eakins Alvord earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Design from Western Washington University between 2001 and 2006.
