Marcel Duffhuis

Marcel Duffhuis has extensive experience in information management and digital innovation within various municipalities in the Netherlands. Currently, as Programmamanager Digital Twin Utrecht and Informatiemanager at Gemeente Utrecht since September 2017, Marcel focuses on the implementation of the Omgevingswet and the Digital Twin project. Previous roles include Informatie-adviseur a.i. at Gemeente Asten, Projectleider digitalisering at Baanbrekers, and Strategisch informatie adviseur at Gemeente Eindhoven, where responsibilities spanned from advising on information architecture to leading ICT projects. Marcel's contributions have been recognized through roles at multiple municipalities, including Gemeente Leidschendam-Voorburg and Gemeente Sint-Michielsgestel. Marcel holds a certificate in Informatica and has further specialized in the Omgevingswet and urban development.
