Pierre Jochems

Pierre Jochems is an experienced project manager and strategic advisor specializing in urban planning and environmental policies. Currently serving as Project Leader for the Omgevingsvisie at the Gemeente Gemert-Bakel since April 2024, Pierre has also been involved as a Project Manager for the implementation of the Omgevingswet at Gemeente Beuningen since December 2019. Prior roles include overseeing the RijnlandRoute project for Gemeente Leiden, functioning as a strategic mobility advisor for Gemeente Purmerend, and advising on traffic safety for Provincie Noord-Brabant. Pierre's extensive career in public administration includes process management for Omgevingswet implementations across multiple municipalities and significant contributions to economic development initiatives in the Regio Rivierenland. Pierre holds advanced degrees in Social Geography and Urban Planning from Utrecht University and in Built Environment from Breda University of Applied Sciences.
