Andrew Chiappetta, P.Eng has a varied work experience spanning from 2014 to the present. From 2014 to 2022, they worked at Sanofi in various roles, including Deputy Director, Process Validation & Life Cycle Management, B100 Manufacturing Technology, B100 Upstream Process Lead, Manufacturing Technology, Associate Scientist, Upstream Bioprocess R&D, and Manufacturing Technology & Upstream Bioprocess R&D. In 2022, they joined Genecis Bioindustries Inc. as Director of Fermentation.

Andrew Chiappetta, P.Eng completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Chemical Engineering from Queen's University in 2013. Andrew then pursued a Master of Biotechnology from the University of Toronto between 2013 and 2015.
