John Kochmar

John Kochmar has a diverse work experience spanning from 1985 to 2023. John is currently working as a Principal Site Reliability Engineer at General Dynamics Mission Systems since November 2023. Previously, they worked at Google for over 10 years as a Site Reliability Manager, where they managed a team of 49 employees and was responsible for developing team strategy and objectives. Before that, they held roles at the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center, Carnegie Mellon University as a Manager of High-Performance Operations and as an Advanced Systems developer. John also worked at the Software Engineering Institute as a Member of the Technical Staff.

John Kochmar attended Carnegie Mellon University from 1981 to 1985, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics.
